but they are essential to complete the image of a man.. surveys shown that the most expensive piece of gadget that a man will spend on is on a watch.... laptop and cellphone both fall behind.

In fashion wise.... these are the few most important thing a man MUST have...

1)An expensive branded watch (preferbly automatic which can last for more than one generation)

2)A good pair of Shoes

3)A good pair of fitted denim

I find that there are not much topics involving watches here... so just my 2 cents....

I don't think they're underrated here, it's just most people don't actually get into watches till later. There's a fantastic watch thread in supershopper that has some very good information.

But I do agree a good watch is a great compliment to a Men's (and Women's) wardrobe.

I hate wearing jewellery, I prefer just to use my cell phone or ipod as a watch. My mom has alot of gold for me from when I was a kid, I guess when my reparation money runs out I'll sell it and buy me a watch.

i wear a watch, but at $150, it's hardly expensive. it's functional and somewhat stylish. my car will always be my most expensive accessory here's my watch only with a black cloth band instead of plastic. same face and same color.
