I was looking at the other thread and I'll have to agree with Milspex on something; what you wear has a history and some signifiers attached to it, both in terms of brands and actual garment’s appearance. It is important to know what they are and combine them in a way that send the msg you want to send. From what I’ve seen of streetwear, designs often take a backseat to the meanings conveyed by the choice of graphics and brands, who you’re running with, so to speak. In the context of that subgroup, which brands you combine is bound to have an important impact that will be read and judged by people in the know. I don’t remember who Chard is btw and milspex is often a grouchy asshole wannabe warrior but that doesn’t mean this specific point shouldn’t be made. Oh and 99% of the posters on sufu do dress in a very mediocre way from my point of view but who cares…
