I would like to sell my C&C Custom kit in order to raise funds to buy a Ludwig Maple Classic kit. Here are a couple of pictures from the music gear thread just to give you an idea of the color and sizes:

Uploading pics is a real pain in my ass (slow dial-up connection) so if you want pics please PM me with your email addy and any requests and I'll send them to you.

On to the drums:

3 piece shell pack with all necessary hardware. The shells are 9-ply maple without reinforcement rings. The bearing edges are all sharp. There is no rust or pitting on the chrome. The drums are wrapped, not laquered, and the wrap is good condition and is securely fastened to the shells. The drums are black sparkle and red sparkle striped - red in the middle (about lug to lug) and black on the top and bottom.

The toms are currently equipped with Evans EC2 batter heads which offer a deep and lively sound. The kick has an Aquarian Super Kick 2 (quite worn) and a C&C logo resonant head. Sizes are (depth x diameter).

Kick: 18 x 24. matching black sparkle hoops

Rack Tom: 9 x 13. comes with Pacific R.I.M.S.-style mount

Floor Tom: 16 x 18.

This kit sounds HUGE and T H I C K and loud. It's hard to describe how much ass these drums kick; it's just not the right kind of ass-kicking for me anymore. I still think that C&C makes some of the absolute best sounding drums on the market today (for the rock music anyway). You can get more information on the kits at http://www.candccustomdrums.com as well as an artist roster so maybe you can hear first hand what these drums sound like.

I'm looking to get about $2000 for the set (the specified drums only) plus shipping which should be in the range of $100-150. PM me with any questions.
