alot of those companies may have fabrics or precial thread types and whatnot form other countries (i.e. amazing quality japanese selvage) but are just put together and gone through post production in china. im pretty sure the last place the jeans have been before entering the market is where they are labled made in. the red ears very may well be top quality japanese selvage. also maybe the dsquareds are actually put together in italy but the parts are brought up together in china.
