matching shoes with jeans

I have an adidas 35th tokyo..

i find it hard to match.

as you know the shoe is black and i just cant match it well with blue jeans

i dont like black jeans

any ideas of how to match it?

what do you mean those don't match w/blue jeans??? i can't think of any blue jeans those tokyo's wouldn't go with...

I love my tokyo superstars.. I find they look great with all the denim I have ...but in general I do find that navy blue and black look pretty weird together.. just cuff your jeans a bit if you find it too dark or whatever.. it'll break em apart..

I've been rocking these tokyo's for awhile now .. and just noticed the raven on the insole by the toes! Nice little treat! Ha.

i just noticed after your post, but i don't think its a raven. i thought it was a dragon (as weird as it looks), and thats the same thing thats part of the black pattern on the outside of the shoe.

for me, i can match the adidas tokyos with everything, but i did switch the laces from black to white. i think the white laces make the shoes stand out better. black laces on black shoes is too black for me.

Yeah theres little black on black ravens all over the outside.. but theres a big white one on the insole too!

No I actually find superstars to be quite soft and comfortable.. after you work them in a bit. I guess they might be hard an uncomfortable compared with some slippers... What do you usually wear?

Are you guys just saying that a lighter wash goes better with black shoes? I can see that, but I only like raw or dark washes.

dark washes go great with black shoes, as do lighter washes. IMO black shoes are the perfect compliment to a good pair of jeans

But why? We're talking sneakers, and if we're talking classic Converse, the detailing and sneakers will be white anyway.

Also, I've found that I like wearing darker jeans with black leather boots or brown, anything on the loafer level and above boat shoes. Looks dressier.
