I loved the season so far, but that finale? That shit was fucking awful.

Yeah, I'm with you two, the last episode was super weak. Good season overall but not a strong finish, as soon as he was given that ring it was obvious what was gonna happen, wack.

i was digigng it. between the engagement and the quitting tobacco letter in the nyt, dons actually made himself pretty happy, and in the process made everyone else pretty mad. it was cool to see joan and peggy girl out ad be jealous cunts for a couple seconds. itll be fun to have a season start off where everyone is not on dons nuts. plus the last scene where don and beatty are in the house adn its essentially empty was really effective. i like how the writers flipped dons character in the 2nd half of the season. he went from successful businessman american dream type dude who is an absolute mess on the inside and cant keep his family together for shit, to pretty decent father and generally nice guy whos working shit out and moving on with his life and getting remarried, but is fucking the dog big time professionally.
