Celga, Rinkya, and Asain ebay customs charges?

I've been lookin to start ordering stuff frmo japanese websites and wnining auctions on yahoo auctions HK & JP, and my question for you all is what happens with the customs?

I live in the US to people here could maybe be most helpful, but have you ever got hit with customs charges on mainly jeans by celga rinya or an item sent by a foriegn seller. If its a toss up, how do i avoid this?

i have only shipped my YJ items once from celga. i wasnt hit with any custom difficulty. and mind you i think i sent about 8 to 10 pair of jeans. so it shouldnt be a problem too for you?
