Investment ideas

I have $10,000USD. I wish to invest it. I'm really saving the money for college, but whatever. I want to keep some money for safety, but I'm interested in some kind of investment. What should I do? Someone forwarded me an email about turnkey porno sites, and I'm really interested. The turnouts seem pretty realistic and promising. Let me know what you think.

Perhaps I should open a denim shop in SF.

There aren't enough of those.

You'd need about another $140,000 anyway..

Savings account interest rates at banks in Iran hover between 13.5% and 17.5% with only a $3000 minimum deposit.

Bank-e Melli for life.

well basically, canadian laws are set up so that essentially no new bank can be started...FI's and stuff can still pop up, as well as foreign interests, but essentially everyone in canada uses one of 6 banks who have a hold on the market, and they're solid investments as they play out over the long term giving you solid return on your shares as a holder, and eventually (once again, over time) a chance to sell at quite a profit.

scotiabank is a good bet based on globalization trends, and their current habit of buying banks in every country from Chile to Nicaragua to Japan. I'm biased, but still.

care to invest in eco-tourism?

+2,000 acres in tropical-humid forest of Nicaragua. Currently we have livestock (mainly cattle and horses), fruit-bearing trees (coffee, cacao, avocado, etc), and precious hardwood (teak, etc).

not for sale, sorry, but you may lease under ecologically sound conditions. if you have a business that you'd like to start, say, a denim company, then come work and survive off the land.
