2901 has a thick vibram rubber sole..

Just be a bit patient.. theyll show up on ebay eventually. Ive seen them on various rakuten stores aswell.

I ordered some from that ebay seller about 2 weeks ago. Still waiting for them to arrive. Hopefully this week.

I'm in the UK, he already left me positive feedback so I don't think he is robbing me.

But he doesn't seem very good at replying to emails so far.

Edit: Update.... Mine arrived today. They fit well, I ordered the same size as my Trickers. The mistake on mine looks to be a bit of wonky stitching on the welt of one. All stitches are there but they go very close to the edge at one point. You would only notice if you were looking for it though. Hopefully it won't affect the longevity.

I read that he said that my particular boots have no blemish or nothing wrong with them at all, but then I read his other auctions and he says the same thing on every single one of them. Hopefully mine are in good condition, I'll be pissed if they aren't.

I think you have to accept the fact that they are not going to be perfect. That is why they are so cheap. I'll post pics tomorrow if I have time.

Honestly - I don't even know what's wrong with mine..You profit from Red Wings high standards..they mark stuff as factory seconds that other companies would sell fro the normal price..

Maybe you were luckier than me, because mine are definitely seconds. Not that it concerns me. If I was worried about thme being imperfect, I wouldn't have ordered seconds.

I got my 875s yesterday. Perfect in every way. The soles look good; no unevenness. No blemishes on the leather. And the stitches are all intact. Great price. Now off to the Redwing in Culver City for some mink oil.

I talked to the guy, mine will be here tomorrow and I ordered them Saturday I think. I'm hoping they don't have a bunch of stuff wrong with them, but if there is, theres a Redwing store 3 miles from me.

Got my Redwings today already, they fit fucking great. Not too tight, not too big, I couldn't have guessed any better. For reference I wear a 9.5 in dunks, 10 in Van Sk8-his, and usually a 9.5 in Converses. My Visvim Kiefers Mids are a 10.

The only thing I can see what is a tad messed up is a couple threads that connect the sole to the boot. Only like 3 threads on each boot toward the back of the boot/inner. It's definitely too minute to effect the boots at all.

Overall, I'm completely satisfied with these 875's from head to toe. This is one of the best deals I've ever come across. Can't wait to start the evolution of these. I'll post pics as soon as I can get hold of the digi.

Just got back from the Redwing Store. Got some Fiebing's Saddle Soap for cleaning and some "Red Wing Shoes, All Natural Leather Dressing".. It contains Pine Pitch, Mink Oil & Beeswax all together. He said that's all I need.... I just got done putting my first coat of the leather dressing, going to put a second light coat on after they dry. Not using the saddle soap as I don't think it's needed since the boots are brand new.

RE redwing oil...

I only have neatsfoot oil and I'm not sure if redwing products are available anywhere nearby in the UK. I'm guessing it's alright to oil them with neatsfoot when they need it...? Also, roughly how often do they need treatment?
