Looking for some Red Wing 875's or something similiar, help me out.

Been looking for the past couple weeks for a pair of Red Wings and I decided on a pair of 875s. Anyone know where I can find a pair online? I found a pair of 1907's on Cultizm.. do you think they would end up looking like any of these 875s? Are they pretty similiar?

I also found the ones that have already been talked on here from JCrew but they don't have the crepe white sole that the 875s have.

I've checked all the local stores and nobody seems to carry them.

Can I get a little superfuture help?

Thanks.

are you in europe or the US?

get 8138s from cultizm.. different color than 875, but really nice and more unusual. The 1907s is a good option aswell. Better leather than the 875s and leather laces.. a bit pre-distressed but you´ll end up there eventually.

I like the 8138s but they are just too dark of a shoe for me. and the 1907s are nice as well, but I really do love the 875s and I figure if I'm going to spend the money, I really need to get the exact ones I want if I can.

And also, I just found this site.. are these legit? They seem a tad bit cheap to

me..

Also, what would be a normal width? D's? Sk8-his fit me fine in width as well as regular converses.. my kiefers mid cyphers fit right on as well.

Those look good and they do have a return policy supposeively, but I really can't read anything on there? Is there a way to switch it back into English?

Looks very legit to me...

I believe D is normal width / like the ones that I have - and E is wide...

If they're Red Wings, what's the model number, are the available in the U.S., and do they have a crepe sole?

Also, If I wear a 9.5 in dress shoes and a 10 in Vans Chukkas, what size Red Wings should I get?

There is like 10 different Red Wing threads. They will have all the information you need pretty much in there. You can check the "Evolution of Leather" thread and the "Shoes look better with age".. But overall they say to size down .5 to a full size down... but it also depends a lot on the type of Redwing you purchase.

edit: I sense some sarcasm in your post. Don't take anything seriously I just said, if true :)

edmond

they are 2901. Got them cheap on ebay.

I dont really think theres any comfort difference between the crepe sole and non crepe sole. As a matter of fact, the 957 and 2901 has a really comfy insole, where 875 and the 1945 Clapton classics just has a leather insole...

I´d say the 957 do look somewhat as the 1911 shapewise, but the latter is lower and have probably better leather. The sole of the 1911 is the same as the chelseas (2917) in that first pic I think (not crepe).
