London Spots

I wasn't to sure if my question should go here or in the jetset section but with all the denim heads this would be a better place..

If not Mods could you move it???

I am going to London next weekend and I wanna go and have a go at buying some good denim..

During my short search here I found american classics, interstate Lee etc..

Are there any good spots in town that don't pop up in the jetset or on the sufu mps???

on the map but no write up, a butcher of distinction on brick lane has nom de guerre if thats your thing.

Apart from that urban outfitters have apc remarkably and the uniqlo s000 that are kicking up a fuss are in both stores, they're a pair of £40 jeans, thats all i have to say on the matter.

American classics and interstate had the broadest range of 'interesting' jeans imo

was only there for a few of days though.....

DO NOT expect to come and pick up anything that you won't find anywhere else

for much less money. London sucks to buy denim in.

Yeah, What everyone else said.

No cheap denim and a bit low on shops. Couple of little boutique shops I found in the old street area stocking PRPS, Edwins, lee's & the japanese raw Carhartts. Can't remember what thy were called tho'

Selfridges did have some raw LVC '55's at £55 recently in the sale, but they'll be long gone by now.

Dex Star- Cinch is in Newburgh Street which runs parallell to Carnaby Street. A very little shop staffed by people who know next to nothing about the products they stock. There is also a Lee store on carnaby street which carries their vintage range

butcher of distinction has some pretty decent shit....some harder to find fred perry and YMC pieces, trickers too from memory - i was there over a year ago though.

Yeah, very good shop that. One of my favourites.

Also check out the stables in Camden market which I'm told are being knocked down soon.

At a guess I imagine Mr. Black is talking about start boutique in Rivington Street, Shoreditch EC2. I haven't been in there for a while but they used to have a surprisingly respectable selection of denim. They offer a serious alteration service as well if you want them surgeoned. No chainstitching though.
