A.P.C. Rescues

Size: 32 (see measurements)

Condition: Worn for 5-6 months with 2 washes and 3 soaks (purchased from A.P.C. in NYC)

Price: $40 sHIPPED

Details:

-12.5-13 ounce Selvage Denim (forgot what A.P.C. weighs in at)

-Red Selvage

-Straight-Leg cut (most "relaxed" style of APC jeans)

-VERY Minimal damage, washed/faded detailing, leg twist

These are for anyone who wants a QUALITY pair of semi-worn in, straight leg selvage jeans with all of the life still left in them, at a steal of a price. The denim has not gone through a whole lot of stress and has been cared for...as you can see, some fades are there, others are just starting to show (as we have found out, with denim of this quality, it doesn't matter whether the jeans are raw or have been through a wash or two...the fades will still shine through). I should have sized down 1-2 upon purchase...hence the lack of overall fading/wear and damage. No seat or rear blow-outs. There is a small, half inch section of the inner right leg seam, where the threading is starting to undo itself, but that can be easily repaired with the most amateur of sewing jobs.

Someone, please, BUY AND WEAR THESE JEANS OUT AND POST THE EXTREME FADES IN THE APC THREAD IN SUPERDENIM (lord knows the thread needs it)!!!!

Why I'm Selling: To repeat myself, they are simply too loose of a fit for my liking. After having bought the same size in Somet Straight's...which are a good bit slimmer (and don't stretch much), I fell out of love with the fit I was getting from these (they stretched...especially once the denim softened up from soaks/washes). I would recommend this to someone who usually wears a size 33-34 in unsanforized denim (or those who wear 32 and want a bit of a looser/more relaxed fit).

Wash History: Bought them RAW in the last week of December...started to wear them daily in February (unless the weather was really shitty...I was a clean freak with these). First wash was at the end of April (Dr. Bronners, warm water, inside-out in the bathtub...air dry). Wore them for a month and a half and washed them after buying my Somet's (this time it was Dr. Bronners, warm machine wash, tumble dry...which made for a much better fit and made the fades come out more in my opinion). I only tried them on to see how they fit after the dryer (a good bit closer to raw). They've been folded up in my closet since (still smell a little of the Bronner's tea tree).
