evisu oki-ni jeans.. it isnt fake.. but what is it?.. confused!

yo guys! i just came back from a visit to london.. and i bought this pair of evisu jeans in oki-ni... but.. so i suppose it cant be fake.. but i dunno what it is.. it doesnt look like selvage jeans.. let me know if you guys have any clue..

you are supposed to make your own holes with the spike, that is why it is sharp.

yeah - i have similar evisu jeans - you gotta poke the spikes thru the strap... but mines are selvedge...

Oki-Ni was established as part of the Flannels group initiative. It's basically a collaboration of designers and Oki-Ni designers to produce a limited addition range of stock.

i just cut the clinch back off my no2.s just ended up pissing me off because they never stay done up!.... those jeans do look a bit dodgy?

Oki-Ni Evisus do not always use selvage denim as far as I know (which might be why they often have satin bound seams). The photo you posted looks to be the inseam anyway. A selvage line will usually be along the outseam. The material should be high quality nonetheless (looks pretty good to me from that photo). If you got them in an Oki-Ni store, they're genuine.
