We did this shit in greece. The bars in town served all their beer hot and we had to mix it with the only cold drink around-V8. It was disgusting.

yeah, its actually target among hispanics. clamato is pretty popuar in spanish community.

Very popular.

On a side note, that isn't a chelada at all. It is much closer to a michelada.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelada

A chelada is a drink generally involving beer, ice cubes, salt, and lime. Miller's new drink "chill" is meant to taste like a real chelada:

japans answer to clamato+beer. cucumber+pepsi!

actually, drinking a mix of beer and tomato juice is very popular in japan. it doesn't taste good. ppl in belgium mix beer with coke, even more discusting.

Panaché (beer and 7-up) is pretty good for hot sommer days though

mixing beer with tomato juice is about as popular as panty vending machines and tentacle porn. which means, not really popular at all.

What about Ghetto Monkey's? Anybody remember that shit? Drink a 40oz of OE down to the top of the sticker than fill it back up with orange juice. Nasty, but so is OE. There's a rap song about, "drink the OE down to the sticker--fill it up with Guiness, to make it thicker."

well, in the year and a half i spent there, i saw at least 30 ppl drink it so i don't know if it's the ppl i hang out with or something. maybe not very popular, but at least much somewhat common.

^^^ another hood favorite we used to do in harlem was guiness stout with ice cream. actually, pretty good, but would get us killed if we did it in england, or worse, in ireland.

Ben & Jerry's stout ice cream is really good. I think there was a thread about beer milkshakes before that I mentioned this in..........

"Milk Stout" is really good too....sort of a sweet, creamy stout. If you can find it in NYC (I can get it here in SF, so I am assuming you can there) you should get a 6-pack.

yes and no, but now that i think about it, most of the time i saw ppl drink it was when i was living in Nagoya, maybe it's an Aichi thing...

anyway, it doesn't really matters doesn't it?
