that song's from 1991.

the original version from 1988 is different from the single release in '91, which

is the version everyone is familiar with from Silence of the Lambs, or if you're

a fucking retard, Clerks 2.

but it was on the married to the mob soundtrack... which came out in 88.

yeah, that's the original version of the song which isn't the same as the one that everyone knows and loves from Silence of the Lambs. different line-up for the second version, which was released as a 12'' to capitalize on the success of Silence of the Lambs, especially the popularity of the scene in which 'Goodbye Horses' plays in the movie.

funnily enough, the Married to the Mob soundtrack was released twice, the first pressing was really shitty and the CDs started to oxidize rapidly under the plastic

layer, destroying the music data. Reprise was forced to re-press and re-release

the soundtrack- in 1990.
