Is there any point to putting on these one-wash jeans and hopping in the tub?

Let me preface this by saying my interest in (obsessive) denim has waned over the past few months, so I haven't posted in superdenim lately. But today, I just got a new pair of the Cloak selvedge jeans in indigo (as mentioned on my supershopper thread). I want them to shrink-to-fit a bit, even though I'm fairly sure they are (at least) one-wash. So if I hop in the tub with these things on, will it have any effect?

yeah, that wont have any real effect

one wash wont get any more shrinkage unless youve worn them a bit and theyve stretched, in which case theyll shrink down back to size a bit

maybe if you soak these in the tub them wear em wet they will mold to your body and set creases in a bit better, but they wont really shrink

if theyre too big for u now, id definitely suggest sizing down as they will stretch at least one size

Thanks. Sizing down isn't really possible though, since Cloak runs in even sizes only, so I'd be in fact sizing down 2 sizes, which unfortunately is impossible with these thighs!

would they be raw? many non-japanese jeans often are sanforised and raw, in which case you could try giving them a hot soak and see if it works.

Actually it doesn't say one wash at all. I'm assuming its one wash by the way it feels.

Ehhh, I'll probably do it once they stretch out a bit. They are fine for now. Amazing jeans.
