Now that summer's here and I have the time to hold down a Real Live Job, it's definitely time for some new jeans. I want to get something nice that'll hold me over for a good long time, and had a couple of questions regarding fit. My favorite/most comfortable pair of jeans right now are Edwin Straight 503, so I'm looking for a fit similar to those. The only thing is that I don't know what that looks like. I've heard that a lot of Japanese brands are basically renamed Levi's or Lee's, but a check of Levi's website reveals no men's 503 jeans in either brand that I can find. Can anyone dispense me some wisdom as to what they're based on (if anything... maybe I'm wrong) and what a similar, higher-end jean would be?
