Im heading to the motherland soon. Just wondering if anywhere is good for shopping. I think im visiting the mall of asia or Philippinesor whatever. And Staying at the Heritage Hotel.

Any suggestions.? or is it just gash?

I go there every summer, so I'm heading back late June, but when I went there last year, I really liked the Greenbelts. Mall of Asia was kinda "eh" when I went, but then again, only like, half the stores were open last year.

Hmm. Theres alway something to pick up from there. I was hoping this time it might be some nice Japanese denim or a leather wallet...

I was there in January of this year, try the usual places, Mall of Asia, Greenbelt, Glorietta, Makati, etc.

Mall of Asia is much better now since more stores are open. Just beware of the random girls who try and pick you up.

for clothes and shoes, best shopping spots are in Glorietta, Greenbelt, PowerPlant mall in Makati the Shangri-la mall in Mandaluyong. and of course, the ever popular Greenhills for bootleg items fron china/hong-kong.

you can also try Tiendesitas for authentic pinoy crafts/accessories for remembrance or "pasalubong" to your friends and family.

there's always Divisoria for very cheap shopping.

for pirated porn movies, there's Quiapo!!! :D

you can hook up with me too...i can show you the best spots to hit in town...not those crappy malls...mall of asia is a nice mall quite big and also lots of people...i suggest hitting makati and mandaluyong..all of the designer brands ar there... and there is a spot that i know that has dry/jap denim

Go check out Homme Femme in the Shangrila Plaza Mall over by EDSA. Its on the third floor and alterations can be done on the fifth floor. They had both the Japanese and Italians in stock.

^^ As for KTVs, Mystique nearby Quezon has some gorgeous girls. Make sure you do not go on a Sunday as the pretty ones are taking the day off.
