ties + short sleeves?

LOL. I agree with all of you. I hate ties with short sleeves period, tucked or untucked. I was wearing that minus the tie, then I read this thread so I threw it on to test it out. Needless to say, it doesn't work.

Good point, erik. Now that I think about it, the one's around here do too. But the Jehovah's witnesses, those boys are just sloppy-looking.

i think its fine.. i been thinking about it alot recently actually.

i think it can look sharper even that a long sleave if you pull it off right.. and long sleaves are a pain in the ass in the summer

you could post up a pic of a douche wearing any outfit and it would look shit. there is a trillion and 1 variations of ss-shirt + tie.. perhaps a trillion bad, but if you can get that 1 good your in for a winner.

they could wear a bing bag and smear shit all over themselves and still lokk good. thats whats they are paid for.

the only exception could be wearing a non formal tie, a skinny leather one.

Oh god, not the leather tie.

I've never actually seen one worn in real life, they just seem to appear in outlets such as Cult and on the pages of all these eBay vintage stores.

As a rule nowadays I stick to buttoning everything up properly and sticking a jacket on when I wear a tie... until I get too hot, take my jacket off, untuck my shirt, undo the top button and roll my sleeves up. Fucking hate summer.
