i think it depends on how long youre gonna be wearing them and how youll be wearing them. if im just gonna eat or run an errand i wont wear socks, but if im going to class and i know ill be sweaty ill wear some small socks. where does one aquire loafer socks anyway?

one may think they dont have sweaty feet but that tiny bit of un-noticed sweat and regular dirts and oils build up the more you wear them untill you have some nasty ass fungal shit ready to eat your legs from the ankles down.... loafers included.

Also I say no socks unless your feet are prone to sweating alot, then go for those loafer socks people are mentioning, or maybe just go straight for the loafer socks and avoid the risk in the first place.
