Shoes for Jeans...help!

Hello people

I am struggling to find the right pair of shoes to wear with jeans.

I like the Clarks dessert boots; but am not too keen on the sole.

Looking for something in a similar shape; preferably light colored and in shoes rather than boots.

Post pics please; or if anyone knows of any place in NY thats worth a look..lemme know!

i love clarks. the only problem with them is that

the sole becomes extremely slippery when the roads are wet.

Allen Edmonds makes a similar shoe, the Standfords, they're called I think. Can wear as smart casual or formal, too.
