sorry i dont know too much about these kinda pants..can you tell me whats special about wtaps and similar products? i understand that e.g acronym has special high-tech materials.

or is this more a kind of supreme brand?

military inspired label by a guy that used to work in a Stussy store in Tokyo. grew outta a label based on fashion models called 40%. I like it coz its technical but not too technical and TETsu the designer has a good sense.. clothes are real funcitional too, ie pants convert into 3/4 pants, jackets with hidden pockets, highly adjustable etc.. Acronym is too Euro IMO, eg the pants are too fitted, whereas Taps is loose but not baggy. Easy my favourite brand.

"Is it a Supreme type brand?"oh yeh, they sell it in Japan Supreme stores sometimes too so I guess its clientelle includes the Jap Supreme Crew. I'm always teaming Supreme tees and sweats with W)Taps pants and jackets. Double Taps isn't made by skaters tho if thats what you mean.

Just how it's spelled W + taps. But because Japanese doesn't have a native 'W' like sound they pronounce it like ダブルタップス or 'Double Taps'...at least that's what I grown to assume...My favorite t-shirts from W)taps was their DC comic inspired ones...

Yeh, generally 'Double Taps'. Its a play on words with the Japanese pronunciation. Double tap being the military/MOUT term meaning to put two rounds into a target eg the head.
