washing supreme caps

Anyone ever shrink their Supreme sport caps before? Mine is a bit big on me so I was thinking about washing it and then throwing it in the dryer on hot. Thoughts?

aren't the sports cap made of some kind of nylon or some other artificial fabric?

cause if they are, there's no way you can shrink them.

Tag says "100% water-proof cotton" so I'm assuming that it's just cotton. From my experience, the caps aren't really water proof though.

I was just looking at that hat and I was surprised at how big it was. Usually I can't get a Supreme hat on my head! I passed though 'cause of the price. $42 at Huf. The newer DQM hats with the mesh liner fit me better and are really nice quality.

What kind of hats are the new DQM ones? Thanks.

The DQM 5 panels that I have are from last season. One is a multi-stipe one with light green, faded red, yellow, etc. The other one is dark plaid, black, brown and burgundy. They have an upside down skull and cross bones on the front and DQM NYC on the back. I tried to looks for pics but couldn't find any and am too lazy to take my own.

The older DQM hats were unlined like Supreme's. The newer ones have a loose "mesh" or "net" liner. They fit bigger (good for me) than the older ones.

This season I've seen a blk/white checkerboard pattern with "DQM" in red. Too much checkerboard for me so I passed.

I have an older red buffalo check one that i've never worn 'cause my heads too big. I bought it off eBay and it's legit. PM me if you want it.

  • 2 months later...

ive got a few 5 panel caps, 2 moleskin and 1 cotton which i skate in a hell of a lot so they get pretty sweaty and stank quick...nasty...i just wash them by hand in the sink and dry them on top of my head after theyve hung for 30mins or so...stops them shrinking too much and actually ends up fitting better than they did when they were new....thats my experience anyhow
