go for a UK 8 or US 9 for the suede ones and go for a US 8.5 for the leather dbs.

I'm looking to treat my Ronnie Fieg Clarks Desert Boots.

They are made of saddle leather. What would be recommended for weatherproofing and protection? The saddle leather is almost like suede, but not as soft. I don't want to darken them with Mink Oil or anything similar. Any ideas?

Planning to buy my first pair and I need help on finding the right size. Im trying to get some desert boots and I was wondering should I size down one whole size or half a size. I normally wear a size 9.5 on vans but a 9 on sperrys.

anyone have experience cutting down clarks soles? I want wallys but in my size they seem clown shoeish. thinkin i could just like bandsaw off a half inch or so.

Yeah i did it right after i bough them. They were non crepe sole DB's.

Yeah, they just had a regular dress shoe type sole. I'm unsure which ones they are, i bought them at nordstrom rack. I have a pair of non crepe beeswaxed brown too

clarks bushacres are desert boots with non-crepe, rubber soles.

clarks also made some desert boots with a patterned black vibram sole

Wow, these look great with a white sole in my opinion. What kind of sole did you use for the repair? I just noticed that the soles on my pair are starting to come off, so I might get them replaced.
