Where can I get nice ties for work?

Hi there, I have just recently started work and I am wondering where people get their ties from. I've bought a few APC ties which are slim without being ultra skinny and they're great, but the range is quite limited.

Please let me know.

I like the size of APC ties too, they're skinnier but since I'm smaller myself they look proportional. I'm not big on the quality/thickness or price of them though. I was thinking about ordering up some bespoke solid ties through the company that makes the AAAC pocket squares, based on the APC dimensions, I think they'd end up being about $75 a piece but where I live that's fairly cheap for a tie, and I'm sure a bespoke tie would be of better quality.

Just buy a Hermes tie, because that's probably the only expensive brand your boss is familiar with.

try Steven Alan, they have about 12 diff designs and theyre skinny and theyre only 65 dls which imo is not bad.

Also if you live in the arizona area try out HUB Clothing, they got a shipment of skinny ties in last week, i bought three and i really like them.

Brooks Brothers outlet stores.........3 ties for $89 (actually, I believe the sales guy said the offer is the same in their regular stores). Quality is good enough, and surprisingly, they actually have some fashion-forward designs/cuts as of late. I picked up a skinny black tie there last weekend.

Bespoke... where can I get them done? I'm in Sydney, i've got an amazing bespoke shirt maker that i've found, but no tie maker! Let me nkow how they turn out.

thrift stores...most ties there are skinnier than the shit you find new in stores (though generally not like 2" skinny), and you could probably get 60 ties for $65 if you were so inclined...

I like Band of Outsider ties, they are a bit expensive, but the quality is superb. I think Fred Segal and Barney's carry them.

I second Band of Outsiders. Also, Brionis tie wonderfully. They're expensive, but can be had in 50-90 range at Off 5th/Last Call.
