I've had the same problem with my jeans rubbing on to my prized sailor jerry cons. The only advice I can offer is to clean them as much as possible.

this is a little silly (and i wouldn't do it), but this one guy insisted on wearing tube socks everytime he wore his raw denim. he would always fold the tube socks over his shoes. he said it worked...
