Poll: Does Hedi's exit effect your decision to buy Dior?

Thought I'd find out what everyone's reactions are since I just bought a pair of 21cm and in love Dior homme denim. What do you think the ramifications will be for the brand?

Well for one, it's WAY too early to tell. Heidi's collections are still in stores and are coming to stores come Fall '07 so we won't see anything from Kris untill Spring '08 or more than likely Fall '08.

hmm... if i didnt think skiny jeans would be dead soon id get some 19cms now, but i think it would end up being a bad investment... especially with all the denim i have.

Oh I agree^^^ I am pretty optimistic that Dior will regain its strength. I just wanted to see what people might "foresee" and how they feel about Hedi's departure.

It draws an interesting conclusion: are you loyal to the brand or the designer under the brand?

no it being dior does that just fine for me .Well LVMH generally i try to stay away from if possible ( though it usually isnt't )

i iust now it's all depnds on the desgin...

if hedi left dior, Dior desgin might be totally off my taste...

and i m not really feeling KVA's desgin, although he did work with hedi before...um~

The only reason I buy Dior is because of it's slim cut. Don't really care who is designing it- that being said I doubt Kris is going to follow the superduper slim aesthetic that hedi had, and if that is indeed the case then defintely not.

The Dior Heidi Slimane denim might be there to stay though... There might not be anything new from Heidi @ Dior but I heard from the S.A.'s that the Dior cut denim (especially the raws) with their signature 19cm openings and scar are going to be a staple for the Dior Homme line. Is there hope of this being true?

We'll see... right now I'm leaning towards yes. For me it was more about Hedi and less about Dior. Besides, I hate KVA's own line, so I'm a little sceptical of what is to come...
