Okay. my last post was joking but just stumbled on this castlevania. Really good. (But note, doesn't necessarily ROCK if that's what you're looking for. This is such a great thread it's useful crosses genres...anyhoo.)

It's funny though. Electro is still so new that it's like these artists have to call themselves house/electro just so people understand it means (dance) music.

I saw a previous poster on another thread saying house is good music and electro is just fashion music. I just like electro cuz it sounds different and they can mix a little rock in there and still make bodies move. Sounds real good to me. Hopefully where I'm going tonight they are playing.

And to the person who asked me to specifically name some LIbertines songs or Babyshambles songs that are good it's moot. Pete Doherty's style is pretty consistent, if you checked out a few songs and didn't like them you probably wouldn't like the other ones. May be too much on the melodic side? If so check out "Pink" by Boris or Fucking Champs (or even My Chemical Romance.)
