Visvim Ballistic 20 waist straps removable?

Hey guys,

i just got myself a visvim ballistic 20, and its great. Only problem is, im kinda iffy about the waist straps. I dont really use em, and they just hang there..

Is there any way to remove them or hide them? i noticed right behind the start of the waist straps, there is a piece of fabric you can un-velcro, which leads into an empty space -ok this part is hard to explain- between the part of the backpack that your back touches and hardshell of the inner back of the backpack. is there a way to shove the straps in there? If not, what's that space for?

sorry if this doesn't make much sense, it's hard to explain this space i found and if the straps fit in there.

its probably the spot where you can hide the waist straps, just try bending them into there.

i have a 3 way bag and to "transform" from a backpack to a hand bag it just stuff it inside the velcro compartment.

Just try again, it's compltely removable but you gotta use some skills and strength

i got mine removed but i'd say it looks better with the waist strap

hmm... i've tried to remove them but it seems like there are other straps that keep the waist straps from being removed?

are you sure they can be removed?

yes. you probably need a little force to take it off from the velcro.
