Tokyo - cheap accomodations??

Going to Tokyo for about 10 days...anyone got suggestions where two people can stay for a cheap to moderate price range?

year's ago i stayed in kimi's ryokan.

it was japanese style with tatami mats!

cheap, but not the best location. i call it dasai-bukuro.

maybe not their own webpage, but this came up first on google

hotel arietta in gotanda is good - rooms are small, but without the revolting business hotel decor you usually get in this price range..

Newly finished Ryokan, about 8,100 yen per night for 1/2 people. (including tax) it's a 2 minute walk from Minowa station (Hibiya line) Can easily get there from Ueno if you're catching a train from Narita. Very clean, stylish and best of all No Curfew!

I'm definately staying there when I go back...
