Hi,

Does anyone know of any stores other than selfridges that stock Edwins in London?

Apologies if this is a noob question, I searched found nothing and the London denim shopping thread seems to be dead.

lucky I got here before its locked, try interstate opposite american classics in covent garden.

INTERSTATE & AMERICAN CLASSICS:

just follow the road where the rokit vintage shop (should be on your right side).

then at the end of the road turn left and follow this road until you see interstate.

american classics is across the road.

Try the following places in London:

• LA1 - Camden Town

• Harrods - Knightsbridge

• Urban Outfitters - Oxford Street

• Son of Stag - Drayton Walk, Off Brick Lane

Microzines used to have them - not sure now. There are some more places but I'm struggling to remember them for the moment.

I think Start in Hoxton,London have them though they may discontinue since a local competitor on Charlotte Street has started stocking them.

Urban Outfitter don't carry them and neither do American Classics - although their stock changes quite often. As Viv said, Interstate is the place to go, they carry the Nashville, Greenville and used to (may still have) Sen.

yeah, I should have mentioned more but for mid edwin and carhartt etc its heaven, they have nashvilles and the rainbow selvedge ones mmmm ( a part of me still lusts after edwin ). But yeah you walk in and its just four walls of denim! Id quite like to spend some money there.

For variety in the staples Interstate is indeed your best bet, Roberto orders enough to beat the production minimums for Nashvilles in certain sizes. The Three Threads on Charlotte Road, Shoreditch (round the corner from Start) has probably got the greatest variety of styles.

I've seen the Edwins in Urban Outfitters in their Oxford St and High Kensington branches last few year. I'm not sure if they are selling them this season though.

Interstate is reputed to have the smallest changing rooms in London.

I've been in both the UO stores within the last month and sadly no Edwins. Looks like Selfridges too has stopped stocking them.

Selfridges still stock them, I was in there today. Loads of Rainbows, Nashvilles and Redcasts

Thats good news, I guess they've finished all that re-fitting then. I'll check it out tomorrow.

There is a guy called Jonathan who works in the Evisu section at Selfridges. He's very knowledgeable about denim but he is an Evisu man so don't expect him to know about other brands. Gareth is also good.

I know I'm bringing a thread back from the dead but it seems the most appropriate...

A load of past seasons discounted Edwin denim will be out in the Carhartt warehouse by the end of the week. The stock represents the remnants of the short lived Neal St. store denim, the discount amount varies but is typically between 30 and 40%

Be warned there is very little raw denim to be had but there're a lot of washed JP made pants...
