long story short -- i purchased a pair of 45's at the barneys sale, but they were too big, so i bought a pair of 44's from somewhere else. a few days later, i went back to the barneys sale to find that they had just put out another pair of 44's, and marked them down further, so i picked them up to sell.

lesson learned: good things really do come to those who wait.

zippers work great, fit is true to size (although i think they'd also fit a 10.5), looks great with pretty much anything ive come to realize.

God, I wish you had a size 43. I would gladly spend my tax return on these boots.
