Samurai Geisha Help

So I got my wife a pair of the Geisha's in a 26. She wears a 27 in eveything else so I figured a 26 in the Geisha's would be good and so did Gordon. The thing is my wife is very curvy and the waist on these is hitting above her hipbones and she cannot even think about doing the top button. Even the 2nd to top is causing pain.

So should I return or soak and pray for stretch. And I mean s t r e t c h. like 2 plus inches worth. Thanks, Mike

yeah, you should probably size up if it already hurts... they'll only stretch out to their presoak size.

stretching two inches is cutting it a little close...id go with the 27.
