Inspired by what I was told by one of the realest people on here, Cultpop...what's zen to you?

To me:

- DCRev posting his fits on and on without giving a care to the naysayers and idle chit chatter...

- Being asexual. HA i know this is gonna sound loserish, fuck i've gotten to the point i go out and don't care about impressing girls any more. I was out with a girl last week and the whole time i was havin fun but didn't even feel the need to make any moves.

- Jwied's beard. I dunno if he had this in mind, but something about leaving a beard for so long without giving a fuck about comments from other people about being 'unkempt and poorly groomed.' is zen to me.

- Phases in your life when you feel transcendent, i'm talkin like watchin reality happen in front of your eyes with complete calm. Not even in an arrogant, 'i'm above all y'all' manner. I mean just being completely at peace with your place in the world, doin your own thing and not a goddamn thing else matters.

- Cuban tobacco induced meditation, a can of cheap soda and some classic Stevie Wonder/Barry White/CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF OF YOU playin in the background. Ideally this scenario would happen in some kind of lounge where you're listenin to a filipino chick belt out some old sad song and you're tricked out in a YSL 3-piece with a highball Manhattan, but if not this will have to suffice.

- Stefano Pilati at a party gettin up to meet every woman passing by, then when his interviewer says in a puzzled manner 'but they're all straight up prostitutes!' Stefano replies with "You're just a modern kid. But me, I'm a gentleman."

is driving

i got my liscense around christmas time

and just absorbing the road and everything that surrounds it

reminds me of all that tao/zen stuff about absorbing

life peripherally, not focusing on one specific thing

but getting everything as a whole.

driving is like that for me

especially when im high.

zen to me is when I fall asleep with my 5.1 speakers facing my bed playing an mp3 titled "forest raindrops". 1 hour of rainfall and random chirping frogs, looped continuously through the night. before that, I had "ocean waves at sunset" but the seagulls got annoying
