helmut lang denim

can anyone help with the sizing and styles? im looking for the style that is straight, maybe subtle taper, and farely slim/tight. also, are they true to size? 28 in brand x (ex. apc) = ? in helmut lang?

is the helmut lang classic cut comparable to the new standard (what i have worn for several years now and need a break from)?

the classic cut is just a tad slimmer in the hips area to the new standard. i think it's almost identical to the old standard.

helmut lang are probably a half size smaller than true. overall, the jean is snug (but not tight) especially through the thighs. look at jil sander jeans for straight fit with a slight taper. although the name jil sander is meaningless, since she's left the brand for over 2 years now. now true for helmut lang.
