I don't know when this thing actually came out since I stole an advance copy and nothing else has been in car's CD player since. That's a bit of an exaggeration but you get the idea.

I went to that show in NY and I was so happy I did. Although most is just playing the track with her singing, I thought the guy was really amusing to watch. Amazing visuals too

Yeah one of the best shows in 2006, I saw them at the El Rey. Once in a lifetime type thing due to there refusal to perform live concerts in the past. Visuals were insane, similar to Kraftwerk. I got Deep Cuts almost two years ago, really liked the progression in Silent Shout, and last week picked up the first S/T. Silent Shout is one of the most rich and accomplished albums of recent times. Essential.

the knife is the most incredible band ever.

i saw them live in los angeles awhile back, and it changed my life. if you've never seen them live you should get your hands on a copy of their live dvd. you can buy it through theknife.net. amazing.

i second that. at first i was a little reluctant when listening to silent shout after listening to deep cuts but it pretty much grew on me and is now one of my favorite albums ever.

yeah, theyre a good band but they didn't really pick up that much recognition til jose gonzalez covered heartbeats, which kinda sucks for them but still cool... the covers really good actually. jose is the guy on the latest zero 7 album (jus in case fyi).. his album is ridiculously nice too. but yeah good music all together.

They're ok. Their second album is far better than silent shout but i don't really see them achieving anything else.
