in particular the mountain lite II anyone on here had any experience with these they look amazing im assuming the quality is second to none and it seems that a custom bulid is going to be on offer soon.I have no idea of my sizing as its a new brand to me so second part of the question anyone know of stockists in philly or ny?

I was told by snugglepony (who of course is more qualified to answer this question himself) that the mountain light and Red wing 1905 fits "the same".

I´d love some Danner boots, but the price is a bit steep for me.

yea price is high on them but i fugure its no more than a visvim serra,which im also on look out for on my trip if the stone ones are released yet.Im mostly intrigued by this coming custom option,the thought of adding a crepe soul to mountain lite II would be amazing closest id get to the sophnet ones

the Danner´s I like the most are probably the Power Foreman (funny name aswell..heh) Crepe sole.

yea i mean the sophnets are pricey $500 us they are fuking amazing mind i have feeling only up to us11 tends to be jp standard and i couldnt risk being able to squeeze in.without knowing the label.my serras are a bit tight in us11 so im keen to get a us12 at the g line so i can wear them hard

If they are sized as Red wing, us 11 is roomy though. But maybe its different being a jp collab.

they've been in the military boot game for awhile now. probably the best military boots out there for tactical use or cold weather. they fit me true to size in those boots. not too sure about their other styles.

i've had the mountain light IIs for a little over two years now -- amazing boots. stitch-down construction, one piece leather construction, gore-tex lining, double folded tongue...

like superbobo said, i wear the same size in both redwings and danners, though the danners are more narrow in the toe.

let me know if you have any specific questions about them -- i'm happy to answer.

i ordered some imperials from russell a couple of weeks ago. the wait is kind of killing me. but it was the only way i could get exactly what i wanted in a boot that fits me perfectly. i became kind of obsessed with clay shooting sports recently and boot fit is way more important than you'd think for reasons i won't bore you with.

i have some danners. not these danners. while they are very good boots, they are uncomfortable as hell. i'd rather shoot them than shoot in them.

i also find rocky boots to be seriously underrated. they're the most comfortable boots i own.

but i would never wear boots such as these any setting other than tromping around in the woods so i'm sure my concerns are different.
