Jeans too short

I'm a noob.

I bought a pair of one-wash 514s

and didn't realize they were too short until I flew home.

It's not really a problem now, but when I wash them, will the inseam shrink at all?

again, one-wash so i don't know if it'll be a problem.

I'd say 3-4% at max...shouldn't be too bad

You can probabably stretch the inseam back out while theyre still wet.

I'm worried they'll become highwaters. If i just wear them wet will they shrink less lengthwise? That's kind of what iw as planning. Maybe I'll take Icarus' advice and embrace it

there are dozens of us!

dry clean or sell them. wearing them wet will only lessen waist shrinkage. when you do wash them just stretch them out by hand or i guess wear them and stand on the legs to keep the length.

if they're one-wash, all the shrinking has been done, and any shrinking you get will be minimal. thats the point of having one-wash vs. raw jeans.

max you'll get is a cm or so I would guess. and you can always just hang weights on them to hang dry if you're skeptical.

i used to be wary of pants that looked like they were dangling over your shoes...but lately my eye has been more accustomed to that look. i'm finding it a more refreshing alternative to the Dior Homme overlong, stacked look...it's harder to pull off, but if you do it's on some Yohji homeless dandy shit. Nice.

I say sell if you're unsure...i dont see a point in experimenting on em if the best result your gonna get is a normal fit. sell and get something else that fits great.
