Cosmopolitan Shoes in Double Bay (inside arcade off Knox St) will have all thge lastest Dolce Gabbana, Dior, Choo, Biviano etc plus all old stock at great discount. Miss Louise also has very cool shoes.

Double Bay in general is full on great stores for shoes and clothes, try Christian Copenhagen as well for Laxcriox shoes, and Gary Castles on the corner. All within the same 2 cross streets.

Transvaal Ave in Double Bay is the home of Belinda which has a lot of import shoes as well.

David Jones and Myer in Pitt St Mall, the city has a small selection of choos, marc jacobs, patrick cox...

The Strand Arcade, also in Pitt St Mall, and around Castlereagh St is also good for high end designer shopping.

Honestly, I don't think Sydney is that great for haute couture shoe shopping though. Unfortunate because I love shoes...

Agree with b. Not the best for high end shoes, it's not what you shop here for. However if you don't know Terry Biviano is prob one great Australian high end shoe designer with v. high end prices.

" And of course, the stars of the show, her shoes - a rainbow of colours in satin, snakeskin and muted metallic leathers - made an impression too. Fans, who include Sex And The City's Sarah Jessica Parker and buyers were well pleased. She must be doing something right, convincing hundreds to part with up to $1400 for a pair of her designer heels, which are sold across Australia and in London and Los Angeles."

hey there

i would recommend the following :

Gary Castles Shoes @ Paddington - Oxford street

designer shoe salon @ Grace Bros' - they have a fabulous local brand Roberts Roberts

also the shoe salon @ David Jones both these stores are at the main shopping drag on Pitt Street

please try Queen Victoria Building George Street between Town Hall and Market Street.

as there are many designer boutiques there.

also try The Strand Arcade on Pitt Street just a stone throw from Meyers
