this is derivative of watanabe's s/s 03 collection. all in all VERY pleased that he culled the old favourites.

this collection is one of the best when it comes to the wearability of its pieces especially the coats and the biker jackets. i am surely going to snag at least one piece from this collection.

With this collection Junya did better N(N) than N(N) itself. Really diggin the dark street vibes he's been putting out recently. It might be derivative of various pop culture references, but this stuff just oozes edge and cool to me. Love junya's work, can't wait to see his womenswear interpretation of this aesthetic.

Does anyone know, because Junya Watanabe and parent company CDG are Japanese, would it be even slightly cheaper to buy this stuff in Japan?

I only ask because I'm hoping to travel there in the Winter and wondered if it's best to wait until I get there to buy an item in which I was interested.

I'm not sure if there's a particular name for the style, but it's a classic style motorcycle racing jacket. It was nice of JW to give it appropriate context. The zip positions are different from the older versions, but even the classic color is the same.

somewhat interesting that this season was one of the few (the only?) that mens and womenswear coincided for junya watanabe.

trying to draw links between his collections is like trying to tie a knot with one hand. maybe it can't, or shouldn't, be done.
