I picked up a pair of rb15s back at a sale in LA earlier this month and was trying to find pics of how they fade considering how notoriously stubborn they are. I only know a few people on the other SF who own r&b to begin with and none of them have made any real progress.

i own several rb pairs, mostly concentrating on rb11 or rb1. my rb11 worn over a month have just started to have their colors seep inside at where the honeycombs are. rb1 isnt raw, much thinner and softer denim which i think is from their 2005ss or before. they have become streaky somewhat like rb6a, i might post some pictures when i get around to it.

parachutes, what sold me on the rb15s over the rb15 was the rigidity. The tighter weave on the 15s made it clear that the creases would set more easily and faster than the indigo counterparts. Plus, the denim was just nicer overall.

Broken, I'm surprised you're getting that much wear after only 6 months and a wash. Were you wearing them often?

I wore them lightly for the first month or so actually, and after that I started wearing them everyday. But I don't get to wear my jeans as much because I can't wear them to work, I work retail and have a uniform and shit. They aren't crazy contrast or anything like that, but I love how they look.

the denim looks awesome. worn but not thrashed. i sure love me a subtle fade. very nice.

Ya the fade is subtle, and not too whiskery, I think because they arent crazy tight, I'd call them slightly relaxed. Not baggy not tight. Also maybe because it was a really cold dr bronners wash, no agitation or anything like that.

The denim is awesome, the hardware is awesome, I really love these, spoiled my self with my first raw denim, will be hard to top.

That rise looks a lot lower than my rb15s and they look a touch more "relaxed" through the thighs, but I might attribute that to wear.Still, it looks like a great fit.
