When's "The Alternative" on? It was consistently my Sunday brunch companion for awhile, then it seemed to be "Movies That Rock" in that timeslot--like bad Jackson 5 documentaries.

The new Lemonheads disc is OK--J Mascis plays on a handful of songs, and the other guys on the album are the Descendents rhythm section, so he had a solid supporting cast (it all sounds good). I'd say it's 50% good, which is better than 90% of the albums I listened to last year.

I gotta find this out too. I tried to check the VH1 site, but the layout is well .. really shitty and there are ads & pop ups out the wazoo. Couldn't even find out if the concert is being re aired, because well the search function brings up tons of shit not related to what I'm looking for.

I feel your pain man, it's rough having friends that have different tastes than you, or to put it nicely know a lot less about music. I usually find myself in a similar position when hanging out with friends that I've met through school. Even the other art kids in my school don't know shit about good tunes.
