What's the treatment on that? Oiled and tanned? and what color did it start out as?

I know that it started out same color as Ott's (and everybody else's RM here, it seems). It was bought second-hand, though. RM recommends sunning 2 days before using, so I assume it was tanned. Don't really know how much it's oiled, they (RM) say the oil from a person's hands is enough oil for these things, though. Ott neatsfoot oiled it once.
