any Porter coming from China is fake. Sorry dude. It should be made in Japan. At least mine is. And every other Head Porter bag I've seen has been made in Japan.

They do fake everything in China.

Aren't Porter bags supposed to come with the authenticity card/number? I know it can easily be faked, but if it didn't come with one to start with that should already be enough of a giveaway.

Either way, the quality looks crappy. What are the sellers other auctions like? If he is selling/has sold any other fake stuff then you have your answer...........

Tell the seller not to bother shipping it out, maybe you can get your money back. Unless you want a blatantly fake HP bag. Or you can buy my waist bag, that's definitely the best solution to all of this.

for the most part i refuse to buy anything from china on ebay. and you can usually tell if they have multiples of that item....

i haven't seen any fake with a HP card w/serial. i have no idea why they haven't started making those yet. but like i said in another thread, it doesn't mention the item its for - so you could be buying a fake item with a real HP card from some other item.

anyway i send an email to the seller to ask exactly where he get it from and, i'll try to get a refund,

how can they do this quality ?

Many factories in China have the means to do the same quality as many designer brands that manufacture in Japan, Europe and the US etc.... Alot of the factories in China update their equipment just as often as other 'better' factories in different locations.

Porter etc probably use raw materials that come from China anyway and just construct in Japan.
