mrip Samurai 510WX

Sorry if this is picture over kill, but I think they came out pretty nice and I would like to share.

Samurai 510WX 19 oz. export model tapered worn for approx 6 months. The backpocket tore a bit at about 3 months as well as the top button hole, so I sewed them up with some dental floss.(Strongest thread I could find.)

They stretched out way too much even with post wash shrinkage so I've switched to some FlatHead 4001BKs.And 19 oz denim in the CA summer makes for some sweaty legs.

Purchased at the Self Edge x Superfuture party in January and washed on my birthday June 3rd. I hot soaked them with oxyclean for about 6 hours with minimal agitation. Then rinsed with cold water for about 10 min.

Most of the thigh fade comes from me playing lots of DDR(lol) in these.There isn't much of a wallet fade because I switched my wallets pretty frequently. I used a LGC long wallet for about 3 months then kept on switching wallets until I found one I liked.

I had them hemmed and the tailor banjaxed the job shamefully so I retired them a while before the others.

Jean Shops a little over a year. Washed 3 times.

I really like these jeans. They turned out pretty well, but I have noticed that the denim just isn't as sturdy feeling as the Samurais and Sugar Canes that I have. Nevertheless they have withstood a lot and I haven't had a Crotch blowout in these. Maybe that selvedge crotch lining does have a function.... yeah right. I think if anyone is thinking of getting Kicking Mules they should rethink and buy these. They are basically the same jean but these don't have that cheesy selvedge pocket showing. I bought these one wash, but you can order them from New York dry.

Alrighty, here are my Imperial Kings, purchased about 8-9 months ago. They've been washed 3 times cold, 1 time hot and soaked once. I wear these just about every day without fail and I'm fairly abusive to them.There's a little blowout from the outdoors shots, but the ones wear I'm wearing them are pretty true to color.

so here are my suminando's before i sent them off to 45rpm soho to get some repairs done again. they're 2.5 years old, worn for half that time maybe. there's very little whiskering because i travelled a lot in them (to shady-ish places) and had to keep my passport/wallet in my front pockets. the blue hue that comes through is hard to capture.. but it's evident in the right light. love these jeans, but they take forever to break in... maybe that's a good thing though

These have had a long strange trip. I bought them last November at Self Edge, they've been across the country with me three times, and i love em to death. I have alternated between these, my Flat Head 3003's and KMW 1980's, with the Flat Heads getting the most love followed by these. The color is amazing. The pictures dont do them justice.
