the color fade near the crotch is just from the light. the color is an even blue/black

these are pretty slim fitting...kind of a skinny jean so if you don't like that style don't bother with these.

have to mention something that i found weird.. i have some SD-101 s in 27, and the hem is 8 inches across.. did you make a measurement mistake?

i just remeasured them and they measure 7.3/4"s at the hem. these were from one of the first runs of sd-101 so the measurements might differ slightly from the current version of this jean.
