My unwashed selvage diesels

Thought you guys might dig these. the cut is called levan it's a pretty slim straight-leg. These jeans aren't really "raw" in that they're soft and stuff but the dye bleeds like NUTS (after wearing them for a day my legs look like a giant papa smurfs). The denim is REALLY nice:

No, I own a LOT of diesels:

and this is the only one that bleeds like this. I mean, my white sox were COMPLETELY blue and my legs looked like a smurf the first time I wore them. The only jeans I have that come close are a custom pair from earnest cut & sew.

PS: That one crazy looking pair made of like 10 kinds of fabric is something I got for $30 on ebay and wear every year for halloween :)

ok, I think I recognize your handle at HF... lol... before I joined SuperFuture I had those Zathans 764 and they bleeded quite a bit...

It's amazing that you haven't sold all your prewashed jeans on HF and get some real dry denim... ;)

I like variety. I think there's really an argument to be made for buying a pair of jeans that already have a particular fade. Not everyone has the inclination or fortitude to go through the smelly and agonizing process of customizing a raw pair. Plus I cant really wear "jeans" at work so I need jeans that kind of dont look like jeans. Everyone's taste is different and I like to change things up. I'd show you photos of my different hair looks - long hair w/goatee, totally shaved head, beard with short hair, long hair, etc. Variety = spice of life. :)

I actually own four pairs of nudies now, and some of those jeans in the pix are gone now - I'm always getting more and trimming stuff I dont wear.

diesel has always made a ton of differen back pocket designs. Some nuts and some toned down. Check these out:

are you sure??... diesel has been making jeans for a while now and up until just a few years ago i never saw too much back-pocket variety.

The first pair I purchased was in 1999 or so, and starting in about 01-ish they really starting going all out on the pockets. For a long time all their jeans were very traditional looking - leather levis-esque patches, stitched V's on the back pockets, etc. Around 01 they started making more far-out designs. I remember the first time I saw dragons on the back pockets at union square, probably around nov or so of 01

looks like blm made his way here finally

i'd suggest you stay here and forget the wack hf, but since you're probably still a mod there i guess that's won't be happening, ah well.

Actually I voluntarily gave up my mod status there quite some time ago :)

hahahah, oh wow.

Do you disagree? Not criticizing the process - I'm in the middle of 4pairs of nudies! But occasionally it's nice to wear something different. And you HAVE to admit that not everyone can or wants to do it, which was my original point...

yeah, I think it coincidentally coincided with the brand blowing up worldwide. but, like jwied82 said, deisel has been making jeans since the 70's...seriously (1978 to be exact). A LONG time ago, on this forum, ringring posted about how in the 70's there were four colors of selvage coresponding to the four major jean producing companies (Levis, Lee, Wrangler, and... Diesel). diesel had orange selvage...

I'm actually glad for someone who knows about raw/dry/rigid/one-wash and still rocks "others" proudly. Otherwise, it gets too insular here. I'm also glad for airfrogusmc who the resident Levi's loyalist. Good not to have everyone get lured by the siren call of Japanese jeans and the like.

WELCOME! You have a nice variety of denim. How much do you think those diesels will still sell for?
