I've been looking for one of these myself and I work within walking distance to 2 H&M's and even drove to one farther away, and none of them have plain black zip hoodies. wtf is up H&M?!?! fast fashion some hoodies

I washed it like a month later, it shrunk up to the point where the zipper buckles it has waves. Kinda hard to explain.

I say stay away. your better off getting a few AA hoodies. theres a dude selling them at wholesale somewhere here in the market.

I would also suggest letigre hoodies but they seem to be a bitch to find.

i know exactly what you mean with the waves thing. it happened to my fav. hoodie, it looks damn ridiculous.

it seemingly happens to most inexpensive hoodies. i have a small grey hoody from h&m. it's been through several washes, with tolerable shrinking and no zipper waves. i've never tried AA hoodies, but i just don't trust the brand due to post-wash quality being almost nonexistent.

forgot...i might be in downtown sf this weekend, so i'll check for plain black zip up hoodies.

40 degrees, hang dry works for my h&m hoodies. they are just fine.

edit: oh i would get you stuff from h&m, but the postal service sucks so it wouldn't be worth it for you. shipping alone is like $30.

my h&m hoodies shrunk up a bit when they went through the dryer but no waving or anything. They're holding up a lot better than my AA's which turned to shit after 2 months and maybe 6 washes/wears

I can get you guys the AA hoodies with little to no problem, and at the price I'm offering you can get 2 or 3 of them for about 50 bucks. I've worn AAs forever and I don't think any hoodie can beat it in terms of fit and slimness. The london thermals are great. check my supermarket thread

AA hoodies get those waves too. Mine happened on the first wash. Anyone know a way to avoid or get rid of them?

i would think the ripples happen because of heat warping the fabric. since zippers cant shrink like the fabric can, they just ripple out instead.

I delicately wash and use almost no heat when I dry my hoodies. Ive never had that problem.

You might want to try the Uniqlo hoodies instead - thicker and better quality than those AA hoodies. Colors range from red, dark grey, black, light grey, purple, orange & green. Zippers are much more durable as well.
