I am setting up a new chain and crank set so I was wondering when I am settting my chain length should it allow my rear tire to set as far back in the horizontal drop outs? This is how my back tire is set now, is that ok?

ah yes. It does look similar to a painted swobo. I'm not really a fan of sloping toptubes. They look too much like mtb's to me. It's a nice frame though, just not worth retail.

i just get EAI cogs. they are solid.

a superlap bb is super fucking nice though. you're not goign to find a loose ball one that is much better/cheaper.

i've always ridden cartridge ones because i hate having to repack once a month or so, especially during the bad weather months.

i didn't get banned from bikeforums. i'm glad that i can continue to LOL at that shit alllll day long. its insane how different it is from a year and a half ago before everyone jumped ship off to the NY, SF and Chicago boards.

So I got a sealed cartridge bb, now I don't have a tool to install it

Eh, used a putty knife/paint scraper to screw it in..bb/cranks move side to side a bit so I will get the tool soon..

Anyways, here are pics of the re-painted bike. Paint scratches easily which kind of sucks, but whatever, I'm over it.

Yes sir. Schwinn World Sport (mid-80's frame). Stripped + painted, left the badge bare metal covered w/ clear so hopefully it won't rust.

Need a new chainring or a cog...may switch back to drops or bullhorns.
