I had a question for you guys as well, Im finally about to upgrade my wheel set, and Im thinking about using Campy Zonda hoops, CX Ray bladed spokes, and Royce hubs, 20F/24R. I know its turn out to be pretty expensive and so Im thinking maybe I should just grab something already made, but if anyone had any opinions Id love to hear them.

Seriously, people can use their bikes however they want, as long as they get ridden I couldn't care less.

Granted, playing polo on that bike seems like a disaster waiting to happen. I'd hate to see someone take out your front wheel or something.

Whatever though. Some of the fastest guys I know ride entry level track bikes or conversions, and some ride an assortment of bikes that I'd love to get my hands on.

Oh yeah, I'm selling my mountain bike for 700$ ish, so am gonna be on the lookout for a more standard geometry track bike soon.

Still researching and seeing what will both work with my set-up with out changing the look.
